Partial template slot

Declares a slot in the template of a UI view. The partial templates that other modules contribute to this slot are inserted in its place.

Node name : partial-template-slot

The node can only be used in the template of a UI view (or in one of its standard partial templates). It is not supported in the template of a UI component.

Attributes

Behavior

• The node is replaced, when the application is generated, by the contributions to the slot, in the order described in Sorting of the contributions.
• A slot without any contribution renders nothing: the UI view is generated normally when no module contributes to it.
• A slot name can only be declared by one <partial-template-slot /> node in a UI view. A standard partial template containing it can be used several times, and the contributions are written at each use.
